Default upgrade time! help me decide!

I found out that I am eligible for my early upgrade tomorrow (got my droid last november via a lost/stolen/damaged claim which didn't reset my new every 2 calendar!) and am trying to decide if i should get a new phone or wait till the next batch of android phones come out.

I have the droid 1 and will keep it obviously, but what should I get next?

Get the Samsung Fascinate if you must stay with Verizon. On the other hand, the Epic has all the best features in Sprint's version, if you are willing/able to switch. Seems like you are very particular to Droid series, or maybe just like Verizon. Don't get me wrong, they are excellent phones, I just think the Galaxy S line is the best phone out right now. ( I may be partial, but I did alot of research before purchasing mine.) Good hunting.

i am partial to the droid series, but that could change too

i'll have to go in tomorrow and give all of them a go-round.

If you have a D1 now, you are pretty well off. Wait for 4G phones coming the end of this year or beginning of next.

I think hes talking about this:

New Details about Verizon's Android-Powered HTC World Phone

I voted Droid X because for me the 4.3" screen would be the winner. However I have the HTC Desire and I love HTC and would consider the Incredible but I would opt for the newer model of the X.

I really like the look and feel of the Droid X. But considering I have a droid now and I like it a lot, I'll probably hold off until I hear more about the upcoming phones that will be out this winter.

It depends if you are currently rooted with your D1 and if you wish to enjoy the benefits of rooting in your next phone.

I would have totally different perspectives for someone who will not choose to root versus someone who would like to root.
