I have transferred some videos to my PC. They get converted to Quick Time and some of them are upside down. In order to flip them I've got to buy Quick Time Pro. I would rather not do this. Is there any other way to alter/download stuff so I can see the videos taken on my Nexus the right way up on my PC?

How exactly are the videos getting converted to Quicktime? If you copy them after mounting your SD card there shouldn't be any conversion involved.

No matter what the format & codec, you'll have to re-encode to "flip" and there are any number of applications on your PC to do so. I'm not aware of any Android-based apps off the top of my head.
