Red face help! accidently turned dev g1 into tmobile locked g1

ok so i originally had a dev g1 that i was using on att. i decided i wanted to put cyanogen 4.2.5 on it but when i went to recoveryflash it failed to back up or flash. i then read on a forum that i should downgrade to cupcake so i did and now i have a locked g1 that boots up with the tmobile logo now and i cant do anything. i cant open the phone because i have to re-register but that requires data that wont work on my att sim now because its locked. please help anyone. i want to know how to get back to my original dev software fully unlocked and quite possibly how i could put cyanogen 4.2.5 on it?
