Default File too Large to attach when sending video

I am trying to email a 7mb video and I get this error. Same result when I try to txt it. This is crazy. Is there a work around other than a 3rd part app?

too much work. I am in the picture gallery and hitting share to send by email. I need to send these to customers and not through crappy gmail. I am using my exchange server. Regardless the error happens on all the accounts, including txt messaging. Droid 1

Ok well then instead of trying to send through the gallery, go into the Mail app and add the file as an attachment.

I will try that, but is there a reason the share option gives this error?

i'm pretty sure gmail (website) has an attachment limit of >25mb
but i'm not sure about the android limit

i know that the video camera's have an option to limit the recorded video to a size small enough to send via MMS or email.
