You invite on GV the same way ya do with GW, its just that GV invites are alot more rare.

Hi all! I'm making the move to a droid and couldn't be more excited! It's going to arrive tomorrow, but I still don't have a invite from google.
It would be awesome if anyone could hook me up with a Voice invite. (Heck, a wave would be fun to play with too, but no worries. :P)

Does anyone have a Google Voice invite? I downloaded the app onto my HTC Droid Eris, but I can't do anything with it without an account. If anyone has a Google Voice invite, please email me at alonsovcsusb@gmail.com

For those non-US residents, looking to use a Google Voice invite, this is a a windows program that will mask your ip to show you as being in the US. This will allow you to sign up. However, if you have an existing Google Account, you should either change your settings in that account to show you as being in the US, or just sign up for a new Google Account to use with your GV invite.
I haven't used the program myself but I've heard its easy to use and has no malware... Use at your own risk though.
