I have five times this week. Been running Hyperdrive ROM but decided to give CM a try since I have not run it since my Inc2. Went back to Hyperdrive and not flashed an update last night.

I feel so free when I flash.

I've got roms out the wazoo! I even have the first rom I ever flashed to my venerable old Nexus 1 ... which I sold last year.

ok so i just remembered about this thing, [APP] Boot Manager Pro 3.2.6 - Dual boot ROMs from your SD card!. it is so cool cool in that if you have an sd card big enough you can load up to 5 roms on the card and boot into any one of them at any time. talking about a flashaholics wet dream!!!!!!!!!

it is not supported by every device so, but they have a unsupported device form you can submit and see if they can make one to support your device.....check it out if you get a chance.

you can also get it from the market as well:
Boot Manager

i did this a long time ago but i since moved with a different card. but i do have an extra one now so i might try it on my OG EVO...........just beware that this could feed your addiction

Isn't that cheating? It's like booting a Nook from the SD card ... no real risk and it runs pretty darn slow.

no risk, and if i remember there was no real slow down. it is recommended that you use a class 10 card though.

and no it is not cheating.......LOL

i think back in the day when there were WIP ICS roms coming out for the og evo. i had this setup with boot manager. the ics roms had a lot of issues back then that made them not a daily. but if you ever wanted to show off to your friends how your phone had ics way before anybody else did, you can just boot into one that you had on the card.

wow!!, man i have this itch coming........OH MAN.....I'm such an addict

I kind of exhausted my geek gene recently. Picked up a refurb Dell server, threw a copy of 64 CentOS, configured a software RAID1 array and loaded up iredmail configured for a domain I registered years ago and is now serving HTTP, FTP and mail.

I rooted every device I have had and on the OG EVO I flashed a lot on the EVO LTE I flashed but always ended back to Pacman. With the RAZR I've only rooted and same with my Nexus 7. I don't anticipate flashing the Razr as I'm fairly happy with it as is. I'm also happy with the Nexus 7 as is however the itch is coming back with it. I'm seeing a PA in my future.

+1 to this!

Can you add a comma after "Hi" and maybe change "name's" to "name is" in the title too?

Well after having crappy data speeds and not so good reception for the past week, I knew flashing the latest radio might, just might be my solution to this.

Faced my fears and flashed the latest (always got too paranoid when I was thinking of doing this before ) and voila, speedy now

hi jonny

really? for me it is the other way around. i'm like the crack dealer around the corner. i have shown many of my friends on how to root their phones. now they will not stop leaving me alone with root questions or which rom to flash next.

maybe you should try and root one of your family members and i'm sure that they will see the light.

good luck

Step one, admit you have a problem.
Step two, get an iPhone.
Step three, ignore steps one and two.

I definitely have an addiction! I'm using the MOAR Rom on my Galaxy S3, but I also have two or three other roms on my SD card, in case. I've flashed and rooted every phone I've ever owned...except that blasted eight months I had an iPhone. And even then I jailbroke that within weeks before realizing it's not the same as rooting. Nowhere near as fun! I even enjoyed rooting my HTC phones, even though getting S Off was a pain in the ass. It wasn't so fun bricking my Kindle Fire HD, though.

Heh, now I'm bugging my son to root his Galaxy Tab 7. I'm hopeless!!!

You may need to be checked into an inpatient facility for your addiction

I think that'll just mask the symptoms. We gotta hit this addiction deep down in the core

The only solution? Introduce a sledgehammer to your device

My suspicion is the addict will then participate in other forms of flashing.
