Just back from MWC: Android Phones Thoughts

I had the privilege to be invited to this years MWC and I just got back from Barcelona. For me the hit of the whole event was undoubtedly the Samsung Galaxy S II, the update to my current (award winning) handset the Samsung Galaxy S.

Features that really pop out for me are the integration of NFC Technology, which will be a fast growing market this 2011 (lets not even think of 2012!), and the new updated SAMOLED display, which is referred to by Sammy herself as 'Ultra'.

I found this years whole MWC was 'ultra' to be honest, and handsets from the likes of LG with their 3D smartphone really set the scene for a whole new year in Android phones.

So theres my favourite; Did anybody else on this forum go? What were your thoughts?

I have followed MWC carefully and it was excellent. Some manufacturers are bringing a lot of innovation, like LG and Samsung. Others like to stay on the proven path, like HTC. All and all it was a good show.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it is one of my favorite events of the year as well as CES, I enjoyed Tablet PC offering's too, although the Notion Ink Adam vastly appeals to me.
