So, after a year and a half of putting up with my torture, my HTC Hero ran away (actually, I left it on the bus o.O). I really would rather not pay the deductible for Sprint's insurance since I have to fork over 200+ dollars for the Evo 3D in just a couple months. So I'm faced with a choice: pay the deductible and keep my contacts, get a feature phone and lose my contacts for now, plus no android , or buy a samsung moment from ebay (had one in late 09 for a week and returned it for the hero)... any ideas?

Truth. Can get one for around $200, its worth the extra $$$ over the Moment or the insurance.

Being 17, i dont have too much extra cash laying around :P im hoping to buy the replacement phone cheap and then saving up for my upgrade....

Haha I understand that man, I'm 20 and broke in college right now. I still think you should just keep the Hero and scrounge for the extra $100 that an EVO will take. The Moment is, as was put earlier, at best laggy, and at worst, completely useless. I would buy another Hero before I'd buy a Moment.

even with a custom rom it would still be that bad? when i had the moment in 09, i knew nothing about android so now im thinking i just got a bad app or something... i may end up getting a rumor, just for old time's sake
