I'm using a HTC Droid Eris on Verizon, running 1.5 version of android, and am wondering how I can get the "view profile" default action for people in my favorites widget to reappear

I am well aware of how to change the default action, its just that this option does not appear anymore when I attempt to change it. After getting my phone I changed my linked gmail account, and also merged some contacts. It was after doing this that the "view profile" disappeared from my default action options.

I thought I read somewhere that contacts have to be added to a specific list in order to enable this option but I can't find the thread, or figure it out on my own.
