Default Computer Problem With Droid X

Wasn't sure where to post this question so I thought I'd start here. I noticed that when my Droid X is plugged into my Dell 15R Laptop through USB set on Charge Only, the computer hangs when it's attempting to boot. It gets past the Dell flash screen and before the Windows screen it shows an underscore cursor blinking in the upper left part of my all black screen. This is the second time I noticed it. The first time I turned off the computer and unplugged my phone but didn't think anything of it. Now it happened again and I noticed when it hung there, I unplugged my Droid X and it then continued to boot up normally.

Not sure if it's a problem with the computer, or the phone that is causing this problem. Has anyone else had this happen? I tried searching but couldn't find anything about it. I know the drivers are installed correctly from Motorola. I downloaded the software that allows Motorola install the proper drivers and utility. Thanks for the help in advance.
