Gmail PIM and mail pushed or not on Gingerbread 2.3.3 or should I use ActiveSync?
I want to use instant push for my contacts/calendar/mail. Do I have to add my Gmail address as an activesync account (m.google.com as the exchange server) or just a Google account is fine for instant push for PIM/Mail ?
I know could go with ActiveSync to get that, but I need to add a Google account to get a functionnal phone. After adding the Google account, my phone instantly import contacts, mail and calendar so I have duplicates. That, even if I go and unselect contacts/mail/calendar just after! Also, using ActiveSync with a Gmail doesn't give my the Gmail inbox, which is way better than the default mail application.
