Question about Android compatibility with Macs?
Hi, I'm brand new here and wanted to ask a few questions regarding Mac compatibility with certain Android phones. Previously, I owned a Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Honeycomb, and I discovered a number of issues with it, including a huge compatibility problem with my Mac. The computer could not recognize the device, even with applications like Samsung Keys up and running. Ended up returning it because I couldn't even figure out to root the thing due to a locked bootloader. (Maybe there's been a workaround since, Idk)
I'm putting some serious thought into getting the Samsung Galaxy SII, but has this problem with Macs been resolved? I'd really like to be able to just open up my phone in Finder and click and drag any files I'd like to wherever I want them on the phone.
Also, I may get an HTC phone. (Does anyone know a release date for the HTC Holiday? Can't find that one...) Does HTC have any problems with Macs or rooting issues on Macs?
Sorry if these questions are answered elsewhere, but I did check through the related forums and didn't find anything that answered my questions very well.
Big Thanks to any responders!
