First i want to say, that the price doesn't matter because both of these are at the same price.
Im going to use it for Music most of the time, and also play games, i don't really care about the premium earphones, because i've allready have good one.
I've used an s2 before but the xe's 1.5 ghz processer is a big advantage and for music also it has built in beats audio software. And has htc sense 4.0 which is better then touch wiz and this comming from an s2 user but wait for the droid razr its better and it will come in 11/11/11 so you can wait its already released on england I think and an unlocked too well that's what I heard
A Galaxy S2's 1.2Ghz Exynos outclasses the XE's qualcaumm 1.5 by quite a bit. As with all processors, it's not about the speed but the underlying architecture and the exynos is just faster and more powerful than the XE. TBH, the phone to get is the Galaxy Nexus which is coming out soon...

The XE looks really nice but the S2 is the better phone. I read somewhere that Beats is just a software solution and there are plenty of apps available to download which nullify that perceived advantage.
Another vote for the S2, even over the new Nexus. The Galaxy Nexus, although having a higher resolution, has an inferior pentile display compared to the S2. The S2 also has a better camera and arguably better processors and GPU.
Why do you keep spreading false info about the NG? You without question must have an S2, so you are justifying your purchase, but the processor is not better on the S2, the NG is also a Google phone, less crap on it to slow it down. The NG will be the phone to get for many.

And you know this how? There have been 2 Nexus phones now and both have pretty much failed with the public. Not to mention both have been behind on hardware plenty of other phones out there had. I doubt people will be running out to get this one either. The S2 on the other hand is one of the best selling Android phones of all time. Enough said. I haven't seen anything about the Nexus Galaxy yet that has made me even consider dropping my S2 for it...

What false info?
The SGS2 and the Nexus have the same clockspeed at 1.2Ghz, but it (Nexus) runs on an TI OMAP chipset, and according to reports it runs the same GPU as SGS1. In other words, its chipset and GPU is inferior to that of the S2. Even without the Samsung bloat, I doubt if it will be any faster than S2, once they both run ICS.

In what parts? (i really want to know). I would definitely pick the n9 64gb, if it had support for android apps, but i don't think that they will release it to personal users, what i've heard.
So basicly right now the chooise is between these phones:
# Sg2
# Htc sensation XE
# Droid Razr
The battery in the Razr is non removable and it has a locked boot loader. That alone makes it an epic fail to most people.
Most people on forums such as this, maybe (but I doubt that). Ordinary people, however, don't even know what a bootloader is let alone care if it's locked. Judging by the iPhone's success, I doubt the non-removable battery will be an issue either

Wrong on both counts. First, when HTC made it known the new Evo would have a locked boot loader, they were hammered with thousands of complaints on their Facebook and Twitter within an hour prompting them to change their mind quickly. That's way more people than just a few Android fans on this forum. Second, the iPhone can get away with it cause it's an iPhone and people will blindly buy it regardless. How many other phones you see with a non removeable battery? It will fail.

There was this poll a little while back which indicated that it would only be an 'epic fail' for 35% of people on this forum. It would be far lower in the general populous. Bootloaders: do you care?
By all means resurrect the thread for more feedback if you like.
And a non-removable battery only become an issue if the stock one has crappy life or if the manufacture won't cover battery degradation in the warranty. Otherwise, I can't see how it would be a deal breaker.
