I know this has most likely been answered before, but I am going to ask anyway.

So I have an HTC Raider (I think also known as the HTC Vivid). I want to connect only my contacts that are in my address book with facebook. I really do not want all my other facebook contacts to be synced. For example if I just click sync with friends in phone, it adds all my contacts on facebook to my phone list, so when I go to make a phone call I have hundreds of contacts rather then just my contacts from my address book. If that makes sense. Is there a way to do this? I have tried everything.

Not sure on exactly where the settings are on your phone, but on your contacts app, it should be menu>more>display options>look for facebook, uncheck it. The contacts on your phone will remain synced, but the non phone facebook contacts will not show,
