Hi Peeps,

I recently switched from IOS to Android and I love it.

I am trying to make a PPTP connection over 3G on my Galaxy S2 running android 2.3.4 (not rooted). It actually connects and I can ping devices on my home network. That means VPN works, but....

Pinging my devices is the only thing I can do as I cannot open samba shares (File Expert). I cannot use ampache (JustPlayer) nor can i browse my websites.

So what is happening, VPN clearly works if i can ping local IP adresses. Is my provider (T-Mobile Netherlands) blocking anything, and could they even block anything going over an established VPN connection?

I am confused :/

I found it actually does work, but it seems too slow to use. For some reason this worked a lot better on my old iPhone 3gs using same provider...
