Default Blocking Spam Email

I'm getting a lot of spam on my Android phone from the server that host's my domain name/website. It's a GoDaddy server. I use Outlook to access/manage my email from that server. Here's the catch: Outlook does handle the spam very well. In fact, once I tag email as spam it almost always goes directly in the spam folder. But when my phone accesses the server for mobile mail delivery it does not distinguish between previously identified spam and valid email. There's no way to tag/label the spam as such either. Anyone have any idea why the filter works OK with Outlook but not the phone?
Thanks
