Recently when texting someone with my Sprint Epic 4G at verizon cell 334XXXXXXX, she receives the initial text. she replies and it
has her verizon text return address (334XXXXXXX@vtext.com). When I reply
to the subsequent message, she is not able to receive it because my Sprint
phone sends it to her verizon cell email address as a Sprint PictureMail
message, and she just has a texting phone.

She gets a message that, "there is a sprint PictureMail message for you at web_address.com...". I called Sprint. Sprint disabled PictureMail for me but now she does not receive anything when I reply, so she doesn't even know I'm trying to text her.

Any advice?

I'm not sure what app your using to communicate with, but have tried a different one? Like GoSms, Handcent or one of the others.

Have you searched through the options of your text messaging app, to make sure its not being forced to reply as a picture message?

Can you try sending a text directly to her phone number, instead of the email /text address?

The only time I've had to use that email address, is when I text to a phone from my computer.

If her phone is just a texting phone, and you have to go through the email to sent to her, then the problem maybe in how the Verizon service interprets the text message you've sent her. She may have to contact Verizon to get some clarity.
