Sometimes when I bring up the Phone app, I occasionally tap one of the contacts on the upper half of the screen where my call history is displayed (above the keypad). This is annoying because a call gets made without confirmation whenever I accidentally tap one of the numbers from the call history list.

Anyone know a workaround to this? I'm on an EVO 3D.

What you can do is use the Google Voice app, and have the setting for GV to be "ask for every call", then you have to confirm whether you want to use GV to make the call or not. That can help with preventing accidental calls.

The app "Call Confirm" will prevent accidental calls.

+1 for Call Confirm. It was the first app to go back on my phone when I reformatted.
