Default Problems after new ROM on Droid 2

I have a Droid 2 with Gingerbread. I rooted it with SuperOneClick and installed Clockworkmod Rom Manager and "Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap." I completed backups with MyBackup and Titanium and then did a Nandroid backup of the then-current ROM. I proceeded in doing a data wipe, cache wipe, and Dalvik cache wipe through Clockworkmod Recovery. I had downloaded Cyanogenmod 7, so I went ahead and installed the zip from the recovery screen, as well.

Problem #1:
There are no Google-related apps or account setup stuff with the CM7 ROM. Therefore I have no Market, so I am unable to get the Recovery Bootstrap app that I need for the Droid 2. (Apparently the regular CWM Rom Manager doesn't reboot into recovery with the Droid 2, from what I've read.) Figuring I should get the g-app stuff, I read that I needed to download the most recent g-apps zip file. Since I don't have the Recovery Bootstrap app, though, how am I supposed to get to the recovery screen to install it? I tried the standard Android recovery screen, but it only looks for "update.zip" and not other zip files.

Problem #2:
In going through a walkthough at AndroidCentral.com, I got to the point where I need to install the radio file, so I went ahead and downloaded the file and put it in the root of my SD card. It's supposed to be installed at the bootloader. I get to the bootloader, but everything I've read says to press the up or down volume buttons to install the radio file. My bootloader screen doesn't do anything when I press the up/down volume buttons, and doesn't even have a menu of choices that I could choose from, anyway. Although this is not my actual phone, this is basically what my bootloader screen looks like: http://bit.ly/sFG5dm

I've been messing with this since 3pm ET, so excluding a short break for dinner, I've been going non-stop for about 10 hours. Needless to say, I'm exhausted and my brain is fried. I have read so much on so many websites, but I cannot seem to get past these roadblocks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
