Remote texting from another phone.
Hi,
I currently have an android phone in the UK. I am going to France in January for 3 months, and wanted to be able to send texts to my friends while I am there. I have recently been using the MightyText app to send my texts to my web browser, from where I can reply remotely. Is there a way I can do the same, but send them to another mobile phone?
My idea is, if I get another cheap android phone and leave my current Vodafone sim at home in it. I then use my current phone, with a French sim card to text remotely, hence avoiding the massive roaming charges.
Does anyone have an idea if I can do this? If not, are there any other alternative ways of doing it?
