Hi, im new to this forum. My phone started deleting photos that i uploaded through facebook off the phone. Say i would go to facebook, select picture that i wanted to upload, it would upload, then when i went to my gallery, the picture was gone. I already tried rebooting, and i already went into gallery options and seleted show hidden albums, so no- the pictures were not moved to a different album. I have no idea where they went. Is it a setting through the facebook app? or where can i retreive the pictures? and advice would be great!

I too have noticed that on my android. I suspect facebook has sneakily updated the facebook app to do so upon upload. I just take 2 pictures of most things now.

Welcome to Android Forums, both of you.

The Facebook app removal from your device of uploaded pics has been reported around various forums for months now, with no remedy or meaningful response form Facebook about the issue (that I can find, perhaps others will chime in), sorry to say.

Most users just opt to either use their computer to upload to Facebook, or the device's web browser rather than the Facebook app.
