I'm trying to convince myself to move from Blackberry to Android. I'm looking at a Samsung Galaxy S2, but I don't own anything yet. The automated holster settings is a must for me. Is there an app or a setting that can give me these features:
-have my phone ring for phone and be silent for email when out of the holster
-vibrate twice for email and vibrate 4 times (or something similar) for phone when in holster?
It may seem like a dumb request, but that is must have for me. From searching around, it seems others have the same question. I found one free app called Holster Buddy, but it had poor reviews and doesn’t seem to be actively maintained.

I'm interested in this as well. I'm now a 3 year Blackberry user and the holster settings are simply awesome! I am moving to a Galaxy SII Skyrocket and I know I'm going to miss so many things about the Blackberry until someone comes out with an app to replicate what the BB could do (BerryBuzz LED's, QuickLaunch, holster profiles with magnetic recognition, etc, etc).
