Call ID issues

I have an Eris through Verizon in the US. Firmware version 1.5 OS 1.17.605.1. More than half of my Contacts won't show up on the caller ID incoming or outgoing. I have tried removing all special characters and still no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you
