Default MHL from HTC phones to DVI tv, anyone tried?

Has anyone actually tried to pull this off? I know there are MHL to DVI adapters but from what I gather the audio portion doesnt transmit through DVI. With Samsung phones you can run audio out through the headphone jack in the phone at the same time and run it into the audio rca of the tv and it'll work that way but I'm not sure if it works on HTC phones. Anyone tried it?

You sure you want DVI? Don't most TVs accept HDMI, which does support audio?

I have an older model 55" plasma in my bedroom that has DVI. Haven't bothered to replace it since it still works well.

I have tried it. My results were not good. I tried 3 different MHL adapters, none work consistently.
