Samsung Galaxy S, cannot call/sms, but can receive calls/sms
Several days ago I have inserted the sim card into my SGS the wrong way. Of course, the phone said there is no card, so I turned it off and inserted the sim card correctly. After phone started, it said "Enter Network Lock Control Key". I can skip it, but then it says "Emergency calls only" and next to signal indicator there is sim card icon with exclamation sign.
So, now I cannot call, cannot send SMS, and packet data is not working. I, however, can receive calls and SMS's.
The sim card works well in other phones. Also, if I insert another sim card into phone, the problem is the same.
I tried hard reset, then updated ROM (with new kernel, modem, PDA, etc.) Nothing helped.
Is it software-fixable? Or is it hardware problem? Thanks in advance for any help.
