Default Resetting my phone

hi, i'm new here. just wanted to know that if i rooted my phone already, and i deleted some system files, can i factory reset my phone to get back the files?
or is there something i can do to get back the files and reset my phone to the stock version?

my phone model is Samsung GT-S5570 (Galaxy Mini) and running on android 2.2

I'd think you need to re-flash the stock ROM to get the stock apps back

Basically its reinstalling the Android OS on your phone using the specific version for your phone. Honestly as you're not exactly sure of what you are even about to do, don't bother deleting anything.
