Default market error -101 (help)

I searched a few previous threads including this one:
Market Error

When I try to download or update an app in the market I get this error.

ERROR:

"app name" could not be downloaded due to an error. (-101)

I tried going into manage applications and clearing data/cache in market and even uninstalled updates and still nothing. I also made sure to power off the phone. Wait a minute. And then power it back on.

Problem is still there. HALP.

Did you try clearing the market data?

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All tab > Market > Clear Data

Thanks - cannot find "Manage Applications" in any menu. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. If I go to applications, I can see "ALL" - but only option from the "3 dots" menu at bottom of the page is "sort by size"...where do I find "Manage applications"?

Your in the right spot, they changed it a little bit. Go to All, select "Market" and click the clear data button.

I found another site ([Q] Android Market error -101 - xda-developers) and followed this person's suggestions and it worked (YAY!)

Here is what I did:

*********************************************
1. Settings
2. Personal: Accounts and Sync
3. Selected my Google account
4. Once within my Google account, clicking on the context menu/settings menu I selected "Remove Account"
5. Once the account was removed it prompted and asked for a new account, I entered the credentials for the same account and then rebooted
6. Once it rebooted I went to the Market, accepted the EULA and downloaded Google Gesture (I wanted to try a free app first) without any issues!

FYI - the account I deleted was fine, there were no issues in how it showed up but deleted it anyway.
*********************************************

I hope this helps people out! Good luck!
....

Thanks it works
what i did was remove the account reboot my phone
add the account then reboot the phone again and it worked
