Factory Reset, Email "Poof" and Something About Pin Generation
Soooo ... texting stopped working. I did the online support thing with Samsung. Determined factory reset was the only option. However, when it came back all 4 of my gmail account popped up in the "gmail" app and I could not set anything up in the "email" app.
More back and forth. Another reset. Same problem. I tried both gmail and Yahoo and received messages about exceeding my pin limitations. Also getting errors about things timing out. "Pin generation limit exceeded."
I have not gotten as far as resetting wi-fi here at home.
Ended up with the Samsung phone help and was disconnected twice. It was not heartening that they were not familiar with the error message. I'm stuck in a vortex of customer service.
I did some googling - everything says you need a factory reset when this happens. I've done that twice.
Let me back up and say that when texting stopped working, I received messages about memory being full even though I had cleared everything. That message isn't back and the texting is working now.
Am I really going to have to mail my phone back to Samsung?
