Mobile Data Forcing
Hi all,
I just wondered if somebody may be able to assist me with what for most people would be a simple problem (alas for myself, turning the phone on or off is like rocket science).
I only have a small data allowance of 250mbs because I usually have my phone enabled in a wifi area, so did want to waste lots of ££££s on data that I do not need. However, I keep finding that my phone keeps forcingmy data to be enabled, even when I remove the tick from the tick box.
I only want data when I'm out and about and when I want to check my emails, I don't want it on all the time eating up my 250mb. Why does my phone keep going back on my demand to turn off data? I'm in a Wifi zone now for example, yet the 3G symbol is flashing away eating up my data, even though I turned off data.
I have a program to do with battery saving but I couldn't find anything on that program that might solve the problem.
Any help would be good, it's tediously annoying.
