Lightbulb App for Documenting Home Valuable?

I am looking for a quick and simple way to document the valuables in my home for insurance purposes. I think it would be great if you could take pictures and add notes such as Purchase price, estimated value, serial numbers, and pictures of receipts.

I found some. They are called home inventory apps.

You might also consider Catch Notes - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.threebanana.notes

Make a camera or video note, attach audio notes (so you can describe things if you like), add text notes.

Depending on your insurance needs, that might be just as easy.

I don't recommend storing your inventory on your phone. Too easy to lose or get damaged.

I suggest you try using the App Evernote that will store your pictures/notes on their servers. There's a PC version of the evernote tool too. I use it for all kinds of things.
