Angry Android market place looks up chinese apps, But I live in the U.S!!!!

I just recently got this android tablet from K-mart (....) and from what I can tell, its some cheap

Chinese android tablet and the only one that ive seen to reach a retail store. I can tell from the

horrible English in the manual and the connection port to the PC isnt the one for the tablet, go

China. Also... ever time I search the word "books" these random Chinese characters appear,

And apps that I would usually have on my phone, such as skype or minecraft, dont seem to

show up at all. Clearing the Cache doesnt seem to help. Is there ANY way to fix this? The

tablet that I bought is called the Impression 7 (inch)

I'd take it back and order something online or go to best buy or Walmart.

I tried a Chinese tablet before and it was awful. I had similar problems as you. I couldnt even purchase apps in the market on that tablet and the gps was locked in china!!

The tablet you bought has a resistive screen, which is inconvenient and makes it prone to scratches. If you just want a cheap tablet I'd recommend trying the Archos. It's $150 but it has capacitive screen and I'm sure it works in full English.

Yeh you got a China pad. Take it back and exchange it for a device that is not quite so Middle Kingdom.

There are nine million bicycles in Beijing.
There are nine million Android tablet makers in Shenzhen.

I actually quite enjoy the tablet. It's far from perfect, but it's still usable.
