Default I wish I had a permanent landscape keyboard.

Like, say I touch the message to open it, I touch the blank to type a reply to said text message, my keyboard would immediately go into landscape mode for me to type, and then once im done with the message, my phone would go back into portrait view until I typed another response.

I don't like waiting for auto rotate to hurry up, nor do I even like having auto rotate on because it'll rotate sometimes when I use it on my bed (which is understandable but annoying) when I don't want it to.

The only thing I want landscape mode for, ever, on my phone, is for games and to use a bigger keyboard to text. Is there an app that does this? thanks

I can't think of a way to get exactly what you're describing (unless you can find a third party keyboard that can change your screen orientation), but you may want to make use of this app. It allows you to enable autorotate for only specific apps. So if you just set it on for your SMS app, it should allow you to use the phone normally whilst lying down even with autoroate on.

It sounds to me like you're using the stock Android keyboard which has very small keys in portrait mode. Switch to any of the custom keyboards like Swype, Swiftkey, or Touchpal. They make typing in portrait a breeze.
