Hello! This is my first post!
I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to use my DROID Pro by Motorola phone while I am in Spain. Verizon is my carrier. I am taking my high schoolers overseas for a week and I've heard you can use Skype for about $15 (a month plan you would buy)? I am not interested in an international plan per say as I won't be chatting with anyone in the States for long, but rather, I would like to Skype or possibly text for a low fee.
The phone says it's "global ready" and I do have an adapter to charge it. I'm afraid Verizon will ding me for every text that might come through or something- I've heard of people facing massive phone bills after European travel and I don't want that.
Any ideas?
