Hello, I am trying to fix a phone for a friend, its the motorola Razr XT910 GSM. Anyway, the phone within minutes of being on freezes up and then restarts, upon doing anything with the phone. He had taken it in to a repair shop and they said it was a software issue as all hardware seemed to be working fine. So he gave it to me, and thinking it was software I rooted it, cleaned all caches and installed a custom rom on it thinking it would fix the issue, well it still locks up and reboots. now the weird thing is when its plugged into a power source it runs perfectly which leads me to believe its actually a hardware problem. looking for some advice, or if anyone has experienced this issue, its not on warranty so he cannot replace it, just send it in. as soon as its disconnected from power it again locks up and reboots.
