Default Force Close Loop Galaxy S2

Apologies if this thread is in the wrong place, I only just set up an account.

Yesterday I dropped my precious Galaxy S2. The Screen cracked, and I couldn't see anything on the screen, it was just blank.

I got it fixed, cost me £150! But now I'm faced with another problem. I started the phone up when I got home, and now it is stuck in a force close loop. I'm just about to do a factory reset, but I'm not sure if dropping it yesterday has caused this problem?

Welcome to Android Forums, Matt!

The impact may have disconnected the battery momentarily, causing file corruption. A reset should normally fix that. If not, return it to the repairer and ask why this wasn't discovered during their post-repair test - they surely had to power the handset up to ensure that the display worked?

Thanks for your help.

The problem sorted itself out and is now fine, however the Vlingo voice search app keeps starting by itself, which is really annoying!
