Default Almost unusable when connected to wifi

Hey guys...sorry if this has been posted before. If so, please redicrect me.

OK, I've been using an LG-P500h running android for a while now, and its a great phone. Its always worked perfectly, but recently whenever I'm connected to WiFi..the phone becomes virtually unusable. I don't mean just the browser...i mean doing ANYTHING becomes really really difficult. I can't text (too slow and choppy), i cant scroll the screen, clicking something takes 10 seconds for a response...basically the whole phone becomes crap. I know this has nothing to do with the speed of the WiFi because it happens no matter what connection i use...my home or university (both very fast!). Anyways, when i disconnect my phone from WiFi..it operates flawlessly again. So what's the deal? How can I fix this??

Sorry for the long post..but thanks in advance!

How full is your internal memory.

The browser and app cache could be pushing the limit of your internal memory.

Have you used a cache cleaner yet? I use this one and it free'd up about 20mgs of internal memory.

I do regularly clean my cache using History cleaner.
However as i stated, the phone is perfect until i connect to a WiFi network...then it just becomes absolutely terrible.

Can't offer allot here, I can say with my LG-OV I have had no trouble doing many things at once.

moving files via bluetooth to PC, while phone downloads another files, surifng the web by WiFi while getting txts.

Only downside to my situation, my bluetooth transfer speeds are cut in half while WiFi is on. sort of annoying but liveable for now.

Just want to clarify, is your phone syncing when it is connected to a wifi network? syncing involves reading/writing a lot of stuff in your internal storage, which can slow your phone down dramatically.
