From your experience, which android manafacturer has been the best for you. I do not care about personal preference. In fact, I want you to be as biased as can be.
Undoubtedly HTC. Build quality, features(lots of widget options, more than what I can say about the other competitors), and timely updates. Since leaving Palm(webOs), the only other manufacturer I'm pleased with is HTC.
I've only used a motorola droid x2 and the stock rom was shit. Since flashing eclipse I can say this dx2 feels like a whole new phone. But that doesn't change the fact that this phone STOCK, is a piece of shit. I'd have to say samsung takes the cake. I know their products are top-of-the-line such as monitors, tvs, etc..
They are also sleek. I don't want to be talking on a brick such as HTC's phones.
For hardware purposes I would say Samsung hands down. But if you're looking for a good build quality then I would point you towards HTC. On the software side, nothing beats the Nexus phones running pure Android.. but between all the different manufacturer skins, I would have to say Sense.
If you ask 25 different people, you'll get 25 different responses. I love my DX, but hated the Bionic. I like the DInc2, and I really like the Rezound. The GNex feels cheap to me, but my first few cell phones were all Samsung and all had great build quality.
So, its a tough question. I think the first phone out of Motorola after the Google acquisition will set the benchmark for future Android devices.
To each their own but HTC? Worst batteries of all time! I'm sure my post will bring on a horde of anti-moto post, but try not to take it to seriously guys just some good ole fashioned trash talk.
Samsung have the best hardware specs, but HTC have Sense (far better than touchwiz) and build quality the Samsung can only dream of. I actually prefer my wife's Desire-S to my S2 for everything apart from pretending my phone is a laptop.
samsung's marketing strategy is... make a phone with all the top specs now.. other phone out at the time will not be able to stackup to the specs on a new top samsung. the issue is they dont worry how well the parts perform together. on paper and on benchmarks is how they sell to the masses. which is working! like making a race car that is great in the 1/4 mile.
htc find the best parts that work together to improve the phone as a whole. make a race car that is great on the track or on public roads; and as a daily driver.
let me also add... that i think in the near future.. this summer.. MOTO will take over... they will be OEM to watch out for. htc and samsung (and all android phone makers) will have to shape up and bring their A-game to stay in the pack.
apple must be extremely worried about how google will use MOTO to push/shape the android market.

I don't think so! Because of if we compare Sony and Samsung (similar price devices), most of the Sony device has higher processor, Ram, internal memory than Samsung.

I tried!!! It's just so difficult to buy a Sony 4G LTE phone in the US from any of the major phone companies. (it's much easier to buy it everywhere else in the world.)
