Hi all,

I have recently got a Galaxy Note, and have downloaded a number of apps that will allow me to group text more than 10 people at a time. I have downloaded Chomp, GoSMS and Handcent, since they seem to be the most talked about/recommended.

All of these apps are neat and have lots of features and all, but something is really bugging me about all of them. I have a group of 14 friends that I text regularly (moved over from iPhone 4). Whenever I pick the group, type my message and hit send, the message shows up 14 times in that group message window. I don't understand why it won't just show up once? I understand that it's sending the 14 people, but this shouldn't be the case. I tried sending a message to 10 people in the stock Android app, and the message only shows up once in the message window. Am I missing a setting on these apps, or is this the same for everyone?

Would appreciate any responses/helps. Thanks.

P.S. Does anyone know why the built in messaging app has a limit of 10 people per message?
