Default 3G mobile Hotspot

Hi everyone, i have got a question regarding 3g mobile hotspot. I have a motorola defy on pay as you go t-mobile, i buy a monthly internet booster, i turn on the 3g mobile hotspot, switch on my xbox scan for networks and basically use the 3g mobilehotspot to connect to xbox live, now when i turn on the 3g hotspot it says about possible charges, i am confused am i being charged for this i have been using 3g mobile hotspot to xbox live for about 1month now, when i look at my data manager xbox live does not seem to be taking up vast quanties of data like i thought it would (normally just kb) i have heard however that this is normal and xbox live does not use a lot anyway, any help or advice about this appreciated. thanks

Im with Verizon and use the MiFi2200. By default, it gives me a message box saying that using data will cause charges. Im not sure if its the same for T Mobile. As long as you dont go over your monthly data allowance, you wont get additional charges. Also im not sure how roaming works with T Mobile.
