I did read some threads on but they were from last year, and it actually looks like the price on this phone without contract has gone UP since then....





Wal Mart has them for $570 plus tax of course, but I can't find them on line for any less. (I want a white one but I don't think that is a price difference) I am going to the T-Mobile kiosk at the mall tomorrow but expect price to be the same or higher. My old stand bys Amazon, etc do not seem to carry them, just unlocked ones or ones for ATT, etc.

At this point I want to play it safe and just get a T-Mobile Galaxy from an authorized dealer to make sure I get a warranty.

Maybe there are other models that are cheaper that I would like so I will check those out as well, but the Galaxy s ii is supposed to be a great phone which is why it am leaning towards it initially.

Any place that anyone knows to get one for less than $600 total?

You can get one free on a mail in rebate this sat at tmobile. Infact almost all their phones will be free with a new contract. So grab yourself one. I know you said off contract but its hard to beat free on this phone.
