I finally stopped using Entourage about a year ago and switched to using Apple's iCal program, so I am just a bit hazy on the details on this first part. But my recollection is that there is a setting in Entourage that will let you sync your Entourage calendar with iCal. I used to do this myself but I am no longer using Entourage and I can't recall the specific settings or setup. If you can't find an obvious setting in the Entourage preferences, try the program's help or try googling Entourage, iCal, and sync.

Once you get your data to sync over to iCal, you can go into the iCal preferences and tell iCal to sync with your Google calendar. You will have to enter your Google mail address and password.

Your google calendar should then sync, wirelessly, with your phone.

That should do it. Once you get this set up correctly, you won't need to worry about physically syncing your calendar. Calendar info should flow across all of these programs fairly smoothly. Good luck. It definitely can be done.

I've been using Spanning Sync for some time with my Mac and Android phone(s) - it's worth looking at if you're happy with an OTA sync via Google. I believe they now offer some support for Entourage - Spanning Sync Blog: Latest Entourage Update Fixes Sync-Related Problems

For iTunes playlist based syncing of music i use Salling Media Sync - there is a freeware version available but I bought it for the faster syncing.

Syncing Apple with Android? How unnatural!

No...some use Linux

Seriously though...I've hated apple for a while now ever since they pushed the sub-standard iPhone claiming to all that it was the best thing ever.

Thay are now trying to sue HTC for being better than they are using vague patents as an excuse.

That's the only thing I hate about Apple. They are trying to take over the whole Technology industry with all these patents. I love their OS though.

-it's a blood bath of patents

I use mac, and used to use ical for everything. But then I realized that google calender is much better. I just upload my ical calenders into google and sync to android from there.

Google Contacts will auto sync to your phone if you signed it to your google account when you set your phone up. Same goes for your Google Calendar.

DoubleTwist is a good app for music, photos, video.

Somewhat related. I'll be syncing my Incredible with Ical via Google. Ditto for the contacts list. What I am wondering, though, is if there is some way to easily merge the phonebook already on my present phone LG NV2 that I have backed up via Verizon's service without messing up my Google contacts.

You can sync Entourage calendar events with your Android for free with SyncMate - just enable sync enable corresponding Sync Services in Entourage Preferences (here is detailed instruction) and choose iCal plugin in SyncMate interface and you are ready to sync
