Default Any means to disable to the long press home key?

Don't ask me why xP, but I would like to disable to the long press home key button (the recent applications window). Can it be done on a rooted phone?

It is probably possible, but also probably a bad idea as it could limit your multitasking. I'm not really even sure I'd want to know why you'd want to do that.

I am not sure whether its an issue with the button or an internal one.

My only suggestion would be to look for one of the developers that currently works on your particular phone and see if there is any help they can offer.

I hope you get it sorted.

Found a workaround just now(ain't I brainy)

The recent tasks windows appeared whenever the menu/back button's light went out( which was set to 1.5 seconds). I set it off and now it works. Weird stuff happens when water takes over your phone.

I hope they implement the liquipel technology in Galaxy S3 phones, hopefully.

Glad you found a solution.

Yea, I think making phones more water resistant/resilient should be a top priority in design now.

Probably something such as not wanting his wife to long press the button and see his "send your wife a Valentine per day" app.

There are honorable reasons for these things quite often. .. yes indeedy...
