Another thought. Did you change carriers and keep your number?
I did this with my home phone and they told me it could take a few hours to a few days for all of the networks to be able to route calls to that number on a new carrier. Sure enough, folks calling me on the carrier I moved to worked immediately, VZW took about 3 hours, Verizon (landline) which I switched from, took about 24 hours (I think they were bitter ), and other cell carriers slowly came through after a few days.
