A 3 way love story.. need help syncing android- gmail - facebook
I'm stuck with a weird problem here. When I first took my Samsung Galaxy S around a year ago, it was wonderful, the Facebook sync, gmail sync and all worked perfectly. But I never really used to check gmail contacts on my PC much, so little did I know that accounts weren't syncing all that well. It was recently when I tried syncing my contacts into my Nokia N900 that I learnt that my gmail/google contacts isn't the central hub.
Put simply, is there any way to sync all my current android contacts including 'sns data (Facebook, twitter)' with profile pic, phone number and email ID (birthdays/calendar not so important) onto google/gmail contacts so that I can sync it to my N900 (still runnning maemo) or any other device I decide to get in the future ? A one time copy would also be fine rather than a continues sync, because I would at least like my current data backed up. Thing is, I have already sat and merged, streamlined and perfected all my contacts on my android along with the relevant Facebook data, so it would be wonderful to have the same contact list on gmail/outlook/N900 and everything, using gmail/gogle contacts as a central hub.
