Default New Phone Question

Hey everyone I need some help. I am looking to buy a Nexus One on eBay. Right now I have an android phone on Verizon wireless. Could I get the Nexus, then put my SD card from my current phone into the Nexus? Would that make it work on Verizon?

Welcome to AF Droid4444

The nexus one was only made as a GSM phone so it will not work on VZW since VZW has a CDMA network. If you want a Nexus phone on VZW the only option for you currently is the Galaxy Nexus .

Thanks. So does that mean the Nexus would not work period on Verizon? Or could I use it on Verizon just without a data plan?
