Default Phone that has good basics and good media?

Hi,
This is my first post so sorry in advance for anything I have done wrong on it.
I'm looking for an android for business use not for myself.
I've currently got a Galaxy s2 (Which I love).
My Dad on the other hand didn't bother listening to me when he was getting an upgrade and got an iPhone 4s which he switches between hating and loving with every signal day.
He's now asked me to look for a phone for him.

I can't recommend the SGS2 enough but I want to find the one that would suit him most.

He runs a small business with only a few lads working for him so his normal usage is calls, texts and emails mostly but also needs a top quality camera for take pics of work stuff in detail as his old BB was useless for this purpose.
The main reasons he hates the iPhone is there is no facility for group texting (that I can find) and also, and this is the one he really hates... If he tries to send a text and there is no signal he has to manually go back into the text when he has signal to send it again!!!!! in other words the phone should send it automatically when he next gets signal.

Also is there an android that stores emails on the phone like a BB does or is it just on the server? He really liked this about the BB as with no signal he could find important email quickly.

All these things are essential to him for business not personal preference, although I have said that I think that emails on the phone memory is a BB thing but I am often wrong.

So Can anyone recommend a phone that does all this, has a good internet browser for light usage and is still alive at the end of the day as mine was on its way out by 4pm as is his iPhone.

Thanks for any help and sorry I waffle on.

Thanks for reply. What is the s like compared to the s2?
I've heard reports that the battery life is better. If this is the case then that would be a good choice I'd of thought. Do you know what the battery life is like compared?
