I recently migrated from standard SE and Nokia mobiles, to the HTC Tattoo. Mainly for the wifi, calendar and contacts sync (btw, just wasted two hours fixing the "delete limit exceeded" contact bug!).
The phone has been quite a challenge to tame, but I see its potential. Here is some questions I haven't found the answer to on other fora and Google, so I hope to be lucky in here:
QUESTIONS:
1 - Is there a better browser than the standard one?
2 - Is there a better way to get Facebook on the mobile, than through a shortcut to touch.facebook.com? No widget that shows new notifications and mails?
3 - How do I edit the options for a widget on the desktop, without having to delete it and place it there again? Some widgets only give the settings menu when you first place it, and not by entering it and pressing menu.
4 - How do I turn on the light in the buttons at all times, as long as the mobile is active and not asleep?
5 - How do I archive messages? I use Handsent, but even in the normal message application, I cannot store a message anywhere. It's just Inbox or delete it.
6 - When I write a text message and the T9 suggests a list of words, but I continue to write before I notice the error... how do I go back and "mark" the word again, so I can choose another suggested word? Must I really delete the word and retype it, to get the word suggestion list?
7 - What easier way to make a smiley is there, than to enter the Menu, Smileys and the press one of the : - ) smilies (which I dont use, I use the one without the nose)? If I add my own smiley as a word, I cannot write it since there is no key for the ")". On SE there is one key with all the symbols, so pressing that two times would suggest every smiley like : ) and ; ) etc.
