Default What phone should I get?

In a few days I will be able to get a new device at a discounted price (I'm on Verizon), but unfortunately I have no clue what to get. Since this new phone will be mine for the next 2 years (most likely), I want to get a top of the line phone. I was thinking of getting the Galaxy Nexus, but with the upcoming quad core phones I just don't know. Should I wait, are there any interesting devices coming soon, or maybe a major convention/event that will announce something worthwhile?
I am happy with my Droid X, and can wait another couple of months if necessary, but it is getting a little stale.

Thank you.

Well, CTIA is in about 2 months, and lots of new devices for the U.S will be announced there, but if you can't wait, consider the Droid Razr Maxx. it has insane battery life for an LTE device.
