Too many pattern attempts - google credentials okay

Hey there folks!

I have SGW firmware 2.3.6.
My screen shows "Too many pattern attempts" and asks me to
enter my google credentials. I am only using one google account
and I know my e-mail and password are correct. I have no problems
logging in to my account online. I have tried various solutions I have
found online but nothing have worked so far, either "null", tapping
quickly on different buttons etc.

Any of you have a solution for this problem?

Okay... it took me some time to figure this out, I had tried maaaaany tricks google search and youtube showed me. My credentials were all the time okay but this worked:

Even though the phone asked for user name/e-mail,
-skipping the @gmail.com only worked.
-Generating new application-specific code

Voila. I had another ASC but it did not work before, so generating new one did the trick.

Since I had this problem, I hope this answer will help anyone else.
