Am i gaining anything by moving to the new version of Google Voice, or should i just continue to use the old one?
I just wish google would create an integrated SIP feature already, so i could easily use gvoice to make calls over a wifi/data connection.
If I remember correctly the main improvements between the version you are using and the current one are the UI and some sync improvements.
ICS does allow for internet calling with SIP accounts natively. If you are just looking for GV VOIP calling, you may want to try Groove IP or Talkatone.
